New Years in Montana

Here is another forgotten photo from before Christmas. Grandma Cari sent a paper chain to help count down the days until we flew to CA. Each link had a special note or task for me to accomplish. She also made her self one too!

Christmas #2 and New Years were spent at the Ashley Lake cabin with the WHOLE FAMILY. It was AWESOME to say the least. The lake was not frozen but there was plenty of snow to play in. All the cousins played so good together and we can't wait until the summer when we can all play again.

(isn't mom's one-piece snow suite amazing? Grandma Schlenker used to sport that on the ski hill)

To have a proper Christmas #2, we needed a tree.

We had to actually earn our Christmas presents (not really) by helping Papa shovel the snow off the deck.

Then it was time to decorate the tree. All the boys got super hero costumes so ofcourse we needed to have a royal rumble to beat up the bad guys.

Grandma and Papa were smart to take advantage of this time all together and get some nice family pictures.

One beautiful day was spent at Black Tail ski resort and I got to go skiing for my first time. Daddy was a great teacher along with Uncle Mark and Papa.
