Winter fun

First snow of the season and it was a good one!

Us boys in a happy place: snuggling with daddy and watching BYU basketball.

At our pre school party, I was Joseph in the nativity we performed. Unfortunately our camera wasn't working properly so daddy only got the song we sang at the end.

Thanksgiving 2013

We drove to Utah to spend Thanksgiving at the Smiths and as usual, we had a great time! We had our Thanksgiving meal at DeeJay's parent's house and were able to catch up with some old friends. After a few rousing games of BINGO we headed home so Daddy, DeeJay and Daria could get geared up to go black Friday shopping. Daddy stayed up all night first at Target for Christmas gifts and then in line at RC willy to get a great deal on a new TV. Crazy man!
We spent black Friday relaxing with mommy and Larissa and making crafts.

On Saturday we rode the train (tracks) to Temple Square in Salt Lake to see the temple and Christmas lights. We probably picked the busiest night to attend but we still had a great time and riding the train was very exciting!

My brother and I are not the best travelers. However this was nothing compared to what is coming. Mom and dad are trying to prepare us for the drive to California for the Christmas Holidays. Let's just say it is going to be an adventure!

New House

We promise to post more pictures later but here are a few of the new house. Part of the problem is we haven't done any real decorating so everything is pretty boring right now.
Daddy has been quite busy building and organizing especially in the garage. It is great that he is so handy!

Daddy installed our new microwave to give mommy a bit more counter space.

Once the weather clears up, we will get geared up to tackle the back yard with a small cement pad and some grass!

Halloween

We were lucky enough to have Papa Schlenker come visit us over Halloween and to help us pack up and move to our new place. As you may remember, we dressed up as Sully and Mike from Monster's Inc.
Earlier in the day, we had our pre-school Halloween party.

Getting Damon dressed, girly leg warmers and all.

Because of the cold weather, we decided to go trick or treating at the college dorms. The students go all out with decorations and are sweet enough to take us through to each room. Needless to say, we melted some hearts!
One highlight was seeing Spiderman!

Before the Move

DAMON
If there are hidden treats, count on me to find them!

Mom chopped it off

Hot Chocolate with mommy!

Houston's first official Lego creation. Mom and Houston spent hours patiently working on this during my naps.

Mom painted this for Houston to help him learn about the planets. It even glows in the dark!
As you can see I am very good about wearing my helmet.
A nasty cold went through our house and we experienced Croup for the first time. Both my brother and I had horrible sounding coughs and could hardly talk. Being is sick is no fun but I did enjoy some nice snuggles with mom and dad when I couldn't sleep. Dad documented one of these snuggles because normally, I am never in one spot for more than 4 seconds making snuggling impossible.
I love ice cream!

For their anniversary, dad got mom and new camera and she had some fun taking pictures of us at Riverside Park. Though it is hard getting a nice natural smile out of Houston these days. When you ask him to smile for pictures, he often looks in pain.
